In-line with our 4P’s (Pride, Passion, Partnerships & Projects) Core Values, all projects must be aligned with the responsibility of positively changing young people’s lives. Our approach is very simple and is based upon the following three stages:
- Innovative – we are always looking to create new, stimulating projects; based upon addressing young people’s needs
- Sustainable – whilst we recognise the need for creative new concepts, the outcomes must be realistic and have longevity
- Replicable – having established what works well, we simply use this as a starting point for addressing the needs of other young people
Because we aspire to meet young people’s differing needs, our work is many and varied, for example:
- We regularly provide buses to transport young people – and their families – to football matches at Notts County FC
- The Charity was responsible for providing a Sensory Garden at Python Hill Primary School in Rainworth
- An inner-city Boxing Club (Fit-2-Fight) was set-up with our help and guidance
- Repeat BBC Children-in-Need funding has enabled us to successfully deliver a multitude of inspirational initiatives
- As with the above example, Awards-4-All funding has significantly supported our work and made it replicable
- Sportivate funding has contributed to the provision of many grass-roots projects, across Nottinghamshire
As a tightly-knit, motivated team, we also recognise the importance of getting everyone together and having fun; the Sporting HEARTS Annual Charity Golf Day has proven to be a real winner in achieving just that.
